I heard my fans all through the fight.
- 'Toz'

In an explosive night of action in the Millenium Hotel Copthorne Michael 'Toz' Mason kept his unbeaten run of 4 fights going.
With a very long card of 22 fights Toz had been moved up the billing due to the impressive number of tickets he had talked his friends and relatives into buying but he mingled in the crowd looking extememly calm, collected and confident.
His opponent came out to a some impressive support, possibly the loudest thus far, and it showed that this was going to be the fight of the night BUT when 'Toz' finally emerged to his entrance song of "feed 'em to the lions", and his impressive sales technique showed that 20% of the crowd were there just to support him, the place went wild and quite literally the roof came off - only thing missing was some mayhem from Dazzle !
The crowd went quiet for the referree to do his last minute talk and the competitors tapped gloves, the bell rang and the wall of sound carried Toz across the ring where he really took the fight to his opponent who had little or no response to the relentless beating he was receiving.
Toz varying up the head and body shots well bringing his opponent in and then unleashing hell and moving off. Towards the end of the round in one such attack Boz caught his victim as he retreated and sent him crashing to the mat.
Whilst the fighter recieved the obligatory standing eight count Jon Deadman could be seen running away to the toilets as in his excitment he had launched a 4 pint jug of beer, mostly over Big Face but also over a number of people sat in the expensive seats who were a little upset !
The round drew to an end with Boz easily taking the honours.
The second round was a lot closer with both fighters landing good scoring punches Toz was not able to put together the kind of attack he had managed in the opening round. The battlers had slowed down but the crowd had not abaited with chief cheerleader Rio getting everyone to cheer on her 3rd favourite man (after Dad and Chris obvs) on to deafening levels.
Honours even.
The third round started with a touch of gloves to remind everyone this was a 'charity' event. Energy levels were now at a premium and the movement much reduced so there was alot more toe-to-toe fighting and this played into the opponents strengths and whilst he was probably picking scoring hits there was never enough power to really trouble Toz who was able to put together some good combinations of his own doing enough to keep his opponent guessing and not able to really get on the front foot.
The final 30 seconds saw both boxers emptying the tank in an effort to close out the bout but the bell brought it to an end and after hugs the two fighters seperated by the referee and a wait for the Judges decision.
There were few in the audience that could argue when Toz in the blue corner had his hand lifted and given the nod !
The crowd went wild and mummy Mason was reduced to tears ! Job well done.

The night was brought to a premature end before the final bout when a number of 'locals' decided to take on the security team and a dozen police cars descended on the hotel complex to restore order - Team Toz were already in Reigate to finish off the night in style.
