Sunday 26th saw the Exiles at Croham Manor Road for another train / game session with Old Whitgiftians (MitWhits). The competition took the usual 3x20 minute format giving all the available Exiles' squad game time. The first period saw the Exiles hit a purple patch building an early six try lead; three of them converted. The next twenty minutes saw the inevitable riposte, with the hosts winning this passage of play 21 points to 12. The final period was a closer affair with the Exiles edging the contest 12-17. The hour mark saw the end of the game with the Exiles early tally of tries ensuring a comfortable final score of Old Whits 33 - Chipstead 'Exiles' 65.
Big thanks to Old Whitgiftians (MitWhits) for the hospitality and the competition. Next Sunday is a League game against Camberley and after two narrow defeats, it is time to get the Exiles’ show back on the road.
