A win is a win so 4 points added to the league table but old wellingtonians would probably say they were lucky to still even be in the game let alone get a losing bonus point or win it in the last minute until a big hit from Chris Gould ended precedings.
Losing Warwick Scott in the warm up didn't help but we had our new mr fantastic Billy Fowler who can play in more positions then Boris and probably a lot better, stepped in to the centre slot and was macificent in defence high enabled a platform for the chips back line to get flowing. Big carries from James Mann and Mitch lock enabled go forward ball.
The scrum was on fire again even with the replacements who had Kyle Smith back firing in all cylinders forcing the opposition to go uncontested (shock) after scrumping them from the halfway line to their twenty two.
Once they went uncontested we had lost our best weapon and the game became a lot more open for the wells more mobile back row.
Another win for stand in coach Ed Elbrow and on to the next game for the boys .
