If you have a child in/about to start Reception or Year 1 you're in the right place.

Chipmunks is the newest team at Chipstead Rugby Club helping boys and girls of all abilities start their rugby playing journey. Some children will have just finished going to RugbyTots, others will have never picked up a rugby ball before, it doesn't matter, you're all equally welcome.

Through a combination of fun games and exercises we help our players learn the basics of rugby - running, passing and catching. The Year 1 children will be introduced to playing tag rugby when ready, giving them a head start for when they play for the club in festivals in the U7s.

Everything we do is built upon the England Rugby values of Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline and Sportsmanship so come and give it a Try!
