Last Thursday saw the first use of the new training area - It was only a brief 20 minute session, by the senior squads at the end of training when the light was failing, but was well received by all involved.
Michael Jelly was on hand to supervise and will continue to monitor use for the foreseeable future making sure we do not allow it to be overused or deteriorate.
Additional steps to protect the initiative are being discussed and agreed to limit its use as much as possible so please be respectful of the area and don’t allow anyone to ruin it for everyone else.
It’s taken a while but I think you will all agree that the end result has been worth it – There will probably be an official opening on Sunday morning and possibly the U7’s /U8’s will be able to make use of it.
Many thanks to all those involved but special mentions should go to Sean Burroughs, Michael Jelly and Barney Ratcliffe.
