Match Preview

Nick Hooper cup. To be played on the 1st XV pitch.
This highly coveted trophy will be contested for by Coaches, Vets, Wednesday night players, Parents, Students back from university and any other ringers that can slip into the fun and games mode!

There is an expectation that the coaches from all age groups will be represented and indeed playing on one team. Mums, dads and 'other guests' are invited to make up the other team.
The rules are reasonable straight forward and will be enforced without fear or favour but with huge integrity and due diligence!

The game will be scrag touch, whereby, after a player has been two hand touch tackled they will take a rest by lying down and produce the ball back to an untouchable scrum half who will provide the first receiver with delightful dynamic and accurate quick ball for distribution to the skilled, fit and fast runners outside of them?
The players will then retire to refresh, received the trophy and join in with the festivities in the clubhouse.
